Our team needs stroke judges!
No prior knowledge of swimming is necessary, you can attend a one-hour training session to learn the job. This job is best suited for parents or grandparents who can keep their attention on the swimmers during races. You get an up front view of all the races so you'll never miss watching your child race! Please let us know if you can attend one of these sessions. Our swim league asks that stroke judges attend the training each year (even if you've been a stroke judge before).
Good NEWS this year, S&T judges that have been previously certified may certify this year by taking a brief online “test”. Once you pass you will be certified for the 2026season. This includes Referees and Starters. All new S&T judges must be certified by attending a certification meeting below.

The Greenbrier Gators swim team is based out of the Greenbrier Farm neighborhood in Winston Salem and competes in the Greater Forsyth Swim League. We are committed to providing a safe and fun environment where kids can swim while learning sportsmanship and swimming technique.
