Dear Swim Team Families,

We’re excited to announce that registration for the 2026 swim season is now open! Please visit our website to complete your registration.

Our season is shaping up to be a great one, with practices beginning on May 18th. We can’t wait to see everyone back on deck!

📣 Important Updates for This Season

Swimmer Check-In (Ages 11 & Under)

All swimmers age 11 and under must be walked in by a parent or guardian and checked in using their swim band.

• If you need to leave during practice, please plan to pick up your swimmer promptly at the end.
• For safety reasons, please do not drop off younger swimmers unattended.

Pool Bands

All swim team members (or families, for swimmers under 12) must have a valid, registered pool band to participate in practice.

• The reactivation process was shared in the April Crier.
• All bands must be activated by April 24.
• Please complete reactivation here.

🙋 We Need Volunteers!

Our team runs on the support of amazing families like yours—please consider helping out! In addition to our meet volunteer positions we have a specific need for these larger roles.

Concessions Coordinator

Help organize and sell food (pizza, Chick-fil-A, etc.) during our three home meets.

Team Deck Parent (New Role!)

Be a point of contact during practices for lifeguards and teen coaches.

• Ideal for families with younger swimmers
• Perfect for a parent already planning to stay for practices
• Multiple volunteers can share this role—no need to commit for the full season

Treasurer

We are looking for a new treasurer to join our leadership team. Responsibilities include:

• Budget planning
• Managing our Venmo account
• Handling payments and checks as needed

League Representative

If you’re interested in taking on a larger planning role, please consider serving as our League Representative. Responsibilities include:

• Attending 5–6 GFSL meetings annually
• Acting as a liaison between the league and our team

Don’t worry—Caroline and Amanda will still be a big part of the team. They’re not going anywhere just yet and will be there to help support a smooth transition! 

🩱 SwimOutlet Store

Team suits are available through our SwimOutlet store.

• Suits are recommended but not required
• Swimmers may wear prior years’ suits at meets

• Tuesday, July 14 – Team Wrap up Party
